A $93 million round for IT operations
Josys announced a $93 million Series B in September 2023, led by Globis Capital Partners and Global Brain. The company said the financing brought its cumulative funding to $125 million, following a $32 million Series A the previous September. The latest round and total financing were separate figures.
Its announcement described an integrated platform for managing SaaS applications and company devices. Alongside software administration, Josys offered outsourced device lifecycle services spanning procurement, configuration, delivery, repair and storage. The proposition addressed both digital access and the physical equipment employees need to work.
Expansion came with forward-looking targets
The company described expansion into North America and Asia-Pacific as part of the release. It also set a goal of providing device-related outsourcing in more than 100 countries by the end of 2025, and planned to grow its product and engineering teams.
Those statements explain what management intended to build after the financing. They do not establish that the geographic target was subsequently met or that every country had identical services. The announcement is also not an independent audit of cybersecurity outcomes or operational savings.
Follow one employee through the lifecycle
Analysis: the value of combining application and device management becomes clearer through a concrete handoff. For a new employee, ask who authorizes access, who prepares the laptop and who confirms that both are ready before the start date. A shared inventory helps only if responsibilities remain clear.
The same questions should be reversed when someone leaves: which accounts must be removed, who retrieves the equipment and how completion is recorded. Evaluating that complete sequence is more useful than assuming a larger funding round or a broader country list automatically eliminates gaps in IT operations.
